Outdoors

The City of Waynesboro is 3 miles from the junction of Skyline Drive and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The only public road to run through Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive is 105 miles of breathtaking views looking down into the Valley from the top of the Blue Ridge Mountains. In addition, there are many hiking trails to choose from, including a portion of the Appalachian Trail. And if you prefer, we welcome you to enjoy backpacking, kayaking, canoeing, bouldering, and mountain and road biking in our area. Regardless of the main purpose of your visit to our town, don’t leave without experiencing our amazing outdoors.
