Join the Waynesboro Heritage Foundation as we open our newest exhibition, Locust Isle: The Patrick Estate. Locust Isle is an early 19th-century brick home located in Augusta County near Hugh K. Cassell Elementary school and the South River. The exhibition explores how the Patrick family settled in Augusta County and their connections to Waynesboro. The exhibit also examines the history of the Spring Valley Orchard in Albemarle County and how the Massie's of Albemarle are connected to the early history of Waynesboro.
