The 42nd Annual Fall Foliage Festival Art Show will take place on the streets of downtown Waynesboro October 12 and 13, 2013. 150+ artists and fine craftsmen will be showcasing their works- including painters, potters, woodworkers, glass artists, jewelers, and more. A new component featuring local food trucks, craft beer, and roots music has been added. Local favorites Hound Dog Hill and Yankee Dixie are among the featured bands. Regional food trucks will be parked on site including the Cupcake Company out of Penn Laird, and Carpe Donut from Charlottesville. Blue Ridge Beverage will be bringing a selection of craft beers including some great fall brews- all beer sales will benefit the Shenandoah Valley Art Center and Waynesboro Downtown Development.
The 2013 Fall Foliage Art Show is being expanded to include a wider variety of arts and fine crafts. A new area will highlight emerging and local artists- look for the EMERGE section to be housed under a big white tent. Face painting and an interactive art project for visitors will be sponsored by the Shenandoah Valley Art Center as well. Street performers, live painting, and roving musicians will round out the weekend. As always, there is no charge for parking or admission.
