Once again Waynesboro’s Ridgeview Park will echo with the discharge of Civil War cannons & other period weapons as the All American Honor Guard conducts its 24th Annual Military History Weekend. Featured will be American & allied military exhibits from the days of early America militias to the present-day military, including uniformed re-enactors, weaponry, equipment, tents, rations & vehicles. Throughout the event, there will also be blank firing of period weapons & short tactical demonstrations. There is no charge to attend. The AAHG is a non-profit organization dedicated to educating the public about America’s rich military history and honoring those who serve and have served our country. Swannanoa is an Italian Renaissance Revival villa built in 1912 by millionaire and philanthropist James H. Dooley (1841–1922) above Rockfish Gap on the border of northern Nelson County and Augusta County, Virginia and sits high atop the Blue Ridge Mountains at Afton. The palace is open for touring on the weekend, and small group tours may be arranged at other times.

Mini Madness is a celebration of the 60th anniversary of one of Britain's most iconic cars. Advance reservations are recommended. the event will include a screening of the original "The Italian Job" movie at 2:00 p.m. If you own a British car, please arrive by 1:15 p.m. for special parking arrangments. The event is sponsored by the Shenandoah Valley British Car Club and benefits the Wayne Theatre.
